1987 – present: Barbara Lamar Attorney / CPA PLLC. Represent closely-held businesses and their owners to maximize after-tax profits. Provide litigation support in cases involving closely-held businesses.
1982 – 1984: Arthur Andersen, tax section of Austin office and computer section of Chicago office. Prepared tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts in the Austin office. Also designed tax software in the Chicago office with a handful of other specially chosen individuals skilled in systems design and knowledge of tax law. The software was later sold to IRS.
